The exhibits are huge, detail-obsessed digital photographs. We see views of our planet, our world, that have become part of our habitual perception, but then preclude said habits because the combination of these views invalidates them. The views Anke Schaffelhuber offers don’t exist. And yet her Pictures tempt us to assume precisely this existence.
